August favorites

: fantastic Sam’s curl defining creme
: ecotools bronzing brush
: elf studio gotta glow lip tint
: too faced chocolate soleil
: la girl pro concealer

I’ve used all these products this month and love them. What are your favorites?

Current Favorites

This was suppose to be an August Favorites post but it’s way to far into august to now call it that and really they are current favorites not necessarily August alone. 😀

057036 Keihls eye cream. I found this in my stash and brought it back out. A Mary Kay sampler. The blush on me has lasted at least six hours and the eye shadows at least ten if not more. A look done using all the products mentioned. Disclaimer I purchased all these items myself. And my thoughts are always my own.
I don’t care for the new Milani Bella line as eyeshadows but these two colors as highlights are amazing!

Mally Perfect Prep under eye brightener. This stuff really is what she calls a face lift in a bottle. It can be used other places for a gorgeous effect like around the nose and on bridge.
Shany Brush I have been using for foundation. It is synthetic and not especially soft but it does a great job at buffing the foundation into your skin.
A famous summer staple for contouring. What else can be said? 😀
This brow gel is less expensive and just as awesome as my beloved Tarte Eyebrow Mousse. I want to get the blonde color as well.
I’ve been mixing these two foundations for a satin perfect color match flawless look.
These two lip combo items have been long lost cousins. They compliment each other so well. The lip stick is bare minerals my favorite brand for lipsticks.
Close up of the foundation color mixed and how stay put the brow gel is as this is dried and rubbed.
I find the Mally eye pencils to be even more creamier then Urban Decay’s and has the same longevity. It glides on and I want every color. lol

The last picture is the swatches of the rest of the products. It also shows the coloring of the foundations alone.

Are any of these your favorite as well or a not so favorite? Share below or you can do random comments and questions. Don’t forget my social media’s. I had a mini hiatus but I have been more active recently.

July 2014 favorites

I like to keep it to  five as I usually have a lot of favorites. My five for this month is

  • Manicure/pedicure with a summer shade
  • From my ipsy bag the Clear Skin Laboratories spot treatment. It really does work!!  I felt one coming on and used it. The next morning so feeling of soreness that is a tell-tale sign.
  • Urban Decay Matte shades in the Urban Decay Basics. Love this palette.
  • Another ipsy find Bare Minerals sample of the 5 in 1 cream shadow
  • Lastly, I found this gem again in my stash. Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment. It is very nourishing.

Five February 2014 Favorites and a Fail

This month though a short one went fast and slow. I am swamped at work and frankly ready for a change. oopps this is not my whinefest blog (you can find that here — shameless plus once again. lol) I did use these five products most of the month and enjoyed them. The fail was an attempt to shop my stash and quickly remember why it is still in my stash!

nikon122113 100
E.L.F. kabuki brush I own three of these and are only 6 dollars better yet you can get them often at half off when a sale is going on. This is great for adding finishing powder and melting your bronzer, highlight, and blusher into a great no line face

Best Bronzer ever… a smidgen orange but with a light hand on my fair skin it works. Not holy grail BUT next to it for items in my stash.

I reviewed these MAD cosmetic eyeshadows this month. They have great color pay off, are versatile, and staying power.

I got this perfume sample from the January Glossybox and I love the scent. I love it so much that I don’t want to use it up but I did at least fifteen times this month far more than any other perfume I have.
I got this in my ipsy bag in January. It is already gone. If I had known I would love it so much I would have gotten some when I could during the ipsy discount period. Alas I did not. Boo Hoo. this stuff has made my thick lightly coarse feel like silk. I will get more the first discount chance I get!

Total Stash Fail. Poor color pay off and spotty lasting power. I am not even sure you can get these anymore. So Might be a moot point but if you can I suggest you stay away!

Artsy five faves

I decided or should I say promised myself I would do a monthly favorites post in the new year. I decided to pick five this month and make them artsy pictures on my blog because why not.  🙂

I’ve been using this about every morning. It had done wonders for my winter drying lips. This “flavor” smells better than tastes though there really isn’t a taste. It’s very slight.

This is my Sonya kashuk contour brush. It’s perfect with her cream bronzer and will make a precise line.

This is another monthly staple. Of course it helps having it in eyes reach. It smells great and is thick without bring greasy. It absorbs quickly too. Love Love Love

I picked this up in January and it became instantly as close to a holy grail item I have ever tried. It is in intensity 2. Which for winter is a smidgen dark. I mix it with the older formula of regular daily wear in that lives lightest neutral shade. It gives me awesome glowing fairly long lasting flawless skin.

I got this as a deluxe sample. It appears silicone based but had a satin soft feeling. It does allow different foundations to last longer and look better.

Did you guys have favorites let month. If so please share in comments below.
